What does a land title tell you?
A land title is the official record of a property's registered ownership, legal description, and registered interests such as mortgages and other encumbrances. These records are public and can be requested by anyone.

Search by plan, block and lot; plan and block; plan and lot; condominium plan and unit; title number; or LINC number. You can also search by municipal street address.
Available address matches are checked automatically. If an address needs a manual lookup, our staff confirm the total before asking you to pay. Some municipalities charge additional lookup fees.
When will I get my result?
Automatic searches are submitted after payment. You can download the result from your confirmation page when it becomes available. Orders placed outside system hours may wait until access resumes.
We accept orders at any time. Current system availability is Monday to Friday, 7 am–9 pm; Saturday, 7 am–11 pm; and Sunday, noon–11 pm (Alberta time).
Seniors aged 65 and over can receive a 25% discount on eligible services, including land title searches, by ordering in person at our office.
