Abstracts are now available on the My Alberta eServices website.
Please Note: To purchase an abstract online you will require access to your MyAlberta Digital ID. If the information on your MyAlberta Digital ID does not match what is recorded in the Motor Vehicles System or you do not have a MyAlberta Digital ID, please visit our office in person to obtain your driver’s abstract.
You have the option of either a Standard or Commercial abstract.
Both Standard and Commercial Driver Abstracts provide the current status of a driver’s licence, lists conviction information, and any applicable demerit points and suspensions; however, it does not confirm a client’s driving experience, nor their date first licenced.
If an individual’s Alberta driver’s licence has been invalid for more than 6 months, the driver’s licence number, issue date, expiry date and class of licence will not appear on the abstract.
